The Company

Fieldbot has pioneered a new scalable Physical AI infrastructure layer.

At present, artificial intelligence (AI)—now officially referred to by the United States as “super intelligence” (SI)—is built on a rapidly evolving technology stack that includes energy and power systems; chips, memory, storage, and compute; connectivity and cloud infrastructure; algorithms, AI software, and foundation models; and, critically, proprietary AI data—including the diverse, high-fidelity datasets required to train, post-train, improve, and differentiate those models.

Fieldbot is first and foremost a hard-tech company operating at the physical edge of the agricultural AI stack—where the digital world meets real-world agriculture.

Fieldbot has adopted a platform-first strategy—first establish a universal, scalable Physical AI infrastructure layer across the installed base of mixed-fleet, electrically driven irrigation pivots, then use that common technology platform to continuously advance new applications, capabilities, data products, autonomous functions, and increasingly capable, self-improving agronomic intelligence.

Fieldbot’s platform-first strategy integrates three complementary proprietary technologies that form its unified Physical AI architecture: Fieldbot UltraCore™, the universal precision upgrades platform that transforms existing irrigation pivots into intelligent, connected, autonomous crop platforms (see bottom of Chapter 02—The Company); Fieldbot UltraFast™, the patented ultra-high-speed Constant Move technology that enables three core UltraFast™ machine applications: (1) autonomous crop protection, (2) variable-frequency irrigation, and (3) autonomous crop imaging (see bottom of Chapter 02—The Company); and Fieldbot UltraMind™, an AI-powered intelligence and multimodal orchestration platform currently under development, designed to connect, coordinate, and continuously optimize distributed networks of UltraCore™-upgraded irrigation pivots and other increasingly capable, fully autonomous farming machines—together establishing the foundational physical infrastructure and intelligence architecture for delivering autonomous crop management at scale (see bottom of Chapter 13—The Intelligence).

By transforming irrigation pivots into intelligent, connected, Physical AI–enabled agronomic machine platforms equipped with motors, controls, sensing, data, compute, and connectivity, Fieldbot provides the physical infrastructure required to autonomously execute and vary a wide range of field-scale agronomic interventions—including the application of water, fertilizers, and crop protection products—with optimal timing and precision, autonomously capture plant-level observations of real-world biological crop responses at successive time intervals, and continuously generate and aggregate diverse, full-season, high-fidelity proprietary intervention-and-response datasets at unprecedented velocity, scale, and economic efficiency.

While power and chips provide the compute and algorithms provide the intelligence architecture, Fieldbot is building something equally fundamental and far more difficult to replicate: a new, persistent, bidirectional proprietary agricultural AI data channel connecting machine action to biological crop response across an ever-expanding network of machines, fields, crops, geographies, and growing seasons.

As increasingly capable model architectures and algorithms become broadly accessible, the enduring advantage in agricultural AI may therefore lie in continuous access to proprietary agronomic datasets from which those models can continuously learn, improve, and compound.

This Physical AI infrastructure layer—and the diverse, full-season, high-fidelity proprietary intervention-and-response datasets it continuously generates and aggregates at unprecedented velocity, scale, and economic efficiency—can continuously train, improve, and differentiate proprietary agricultural AI models—or post-train, ground, and specialize increasingly capable frontier AI models for agricultural applications—while powering specialized agricultural AI agents and AI assistants, positioning Fieldbot as a leading hard-tech company providing a critical, scalable Physical AI infrastructure layer for the rapidly emerging agricultural AI economy.

Fieldbot is a California-based agricultural technology firm—built to run fast and evolve quickly—developing Physical AI-enabled autonomous retrofit solutions for irrigated farming operations and rapidly advancing “smart agriculture” by transforming existing farm machinery into intelligent, connected, autonomous crop platforms.

Fieldbot UltraCore™—Universal Precision Upgrades

The Fieldbot UltraCore™ Precision Upgrades Kit (PUK) is a single SKU that universally transforms existing mixed-fleet, electrically driven irrigation pivots into intelligent, connected, autonomous crop platforms.

Manufactured and supplied by agriculture’s global leader in electric motors and powertrain components, the complete kit integrates Starlink space-based broadband connectivity, an on-pivot Sentera Field Vision remote-sensing system (see Chapter 11—The Sensing), high-speed center drive gearmotors, and networked onboard edge-computing units—and installs on virtually any irrigation pivot in a single day.

Fieldbot UltraCore™ Precision Upgrades, powered by patented UltraFast™ Constant Move technology, are positioned to modernize global crop production by equipping the world’s installed base of more than 500,000 irrigation pivots—built on largely standardized machine architecture, powered by over 3.5 million electric powertrains, and collectively irrigating more than 56 million acres across approximately 100 crop types in over 100 countries—with the motors, controls, sensing, data, compute, and connectivity required to transform these massive field machines into intelligent, connected, autonomous crop platforms capable of sensing, reasoning, acting, observing, learning, and repeating throughout the entire growing season while helping sustainably produce the world’s food, fiber, fuel, and feed.

Fieldbot UltraFast™—Ultra-High-Speed Constant Move

Fieldbot UltraFast™ is enabled by Fieldbot’s patented ultra-high-speed constant move technology that transforms traditional, slow, start-stop move irrigation pivot operation into ultra-high-speed, precisely controlled, continuous machine movement—reducing full rotation times across a typical 125-acre field from 24–72 hours to just 90 minutes.

Fieldbot UltraCore™ Precision Upgrades unlock three core UltraFast™ machine applications: (1) autonomous crop protection, (2) variable-frequency irrigation, and (3) autonomous crop imaging—transforming existing irrigation pivots into multifunctional autonomous crop platforms.

Together, these capabilities unlock a multi-billion-dollar addressable irrigation pivot aftermarket opportunity.
