The Intelligence

Fieldbot is pioneering a new intelligence layer for autonomous agriculture.

For customers who elect to license their data, every UltraCore™-upgraded irrigation pivot becomes a continuously operating agronomic sensing platform—capturing participating farmers’ agronomic interventions and converting generations of traditionally unwritten, farmer-developed agronomic knowledge, experience, and wisdom into structured intelligence by recording applications of water, fertilizers, and crop-protection products; repeatedly observing how crops respond biologically to those interventions, how those responses evolve over time, and how environmental conditions influence crop performance and yield; and aligning that intelligence with farmer-defined values, priorities, and objectives—including being good stewards of the land, conserving natural resources, protecting long-term soil and water resources, and maintaining productive farmland for future generations—to help guide how it is ultimately applied.

By systematically and autonomously capturing successive plant-level observations of real-world biological crop responses and environmental conditions at 24-, 48-, 72-, and 96-hour intervals following every application of water, fertilizers, and crop-protection products throughout the entire growing season, Fieldbot, in collaboration with participating farmers, can continuously generate and aggregate diverse, full-season, high-fidelity proprietary intervention-and-response datasets at unprecedented velocity, scale, and economic efficiency—precisely correlating specific agronomic interventions with subsequent biological crop responses over time.

These high-frequency temporal datasets can reveal how crops respond biologically to what was applied, when, where, and under which environmental conditions—and can optionally be combined with planting and harvest data to close the full-season loop—creating a compounding foundation of physical, real-world, self-improving agronomic intelligence that can continuously train, improve, and differentiate proprietary agricultural AI models—or post-train, ground, and specialize increasingly capable frontier AI models for agricultural applications.

In addition to continuously learning from real-world agronomic interventions and resulting biological crop responses, Fieldbot envisions engaging a vast network of seasoned, expert agronomists representing diverse crop types, agricultural disciplines, and growing environments to further train, refine, and validate its agricultural AI models—integrating generations of accumulated human agronomic knowledge with continuously expanding machine-generated intelligence.

Just as a Large Language Model (LLM) learns from language, proprietary agricultural AI models learn from crops—continuously improving their understanding of planting performance, crop health, water demand, nutrient response, disease and insect pressures, crop-input effectiveness, and yield outcomes across millions of engaged acres.

While generative artificial intelligence (generative AI) enables machines to generate language, images, insights, and other content, Fieldbot’s larger opportunity is to connect increasingly capable agricultural AI models to the physical world—enabling them to learn from real-world agronomic interventions, observe successive biological crop responses, reason over that experience, and ultimately translate intelligence into autonomous machine action.

Autonomous machine action is not the endpoint.

The next step is to enable machines to continuously observe and learn from biological crop responses to their autonomous actions.

With the next generation of autonomous technology, UltraCore™-upgraded irrigation pivots will integrate a multimodal vision-language-action (VLA) model to wrap an autonomous execution harness around the proprietary agricultural AI models—giving agency to irrigation pivots by enabling them to perceive field conditions, reason over agronomic intelligence, autonomously execute physical actions, observe the resulting biological crop responses, and learn from the outcomes.

This creates a persistent, closed, self-improving, and compounding Physical AI learning loop connecting agronomic intelligence with autonomous agronomic intervention—transforming UltraCore™-upgraded irrigation pivots into true field robots.

Fieldbot UltraMind™—Autonomous Crop Management

Fieldbot is developing Fieldbot UltraMind™, a proprietary AI-powered intelligence and multimodal orchestration platform designed to connect, coordinate, and continuously optimize distributed networks of UltraCore™-upgraded irrigation pivots and other increasingly capable, fully autonomous farming machines—creating a unified, continuously learning, self-improving agronomic intelligence ecosystem to enable autonomous crop management at scale.

By integrating real-time machine telemetry, GPS positioning, multispectral crop sensing, edge computing, connectivity, and autonomous agronomic intervention capabilities, Fieldbot UltraMind™ is being designed to enable coordinated machine operations, persistent field-scale situational awareness, and increasingly intelligent autonomous crop management.

Through a continuous, bidirectional flow of information between autonomous agronomic interventions and successive observations of real-world biological crop responses, the platform is intended to continuously generate and aggregate diverse, full-season, high-fidelity proprietary intervention-and-response datasets at unprecedented velocity, scale, and economic efficiency—enabling self-improving agronomic intelligence to learn, reason, predict, optimize, and ultimately orchestrate autonomous crop management across distributed networks of machines, fields, crops, environments, and growing seasons, in alignment with farmer-defined objectives, priorities, and values.

This loop will continuously translate successive plant-level observations of real-world biological crop responses into agronomic decisions; agronomic decisions into autonomous agronomic interventions and machine actuation; and the resulting biological crop responses into new, diverse, full-season, high-fidelity proprietary intervention-and-response datasets that further train, improve, and differentiate the proprietary agricultural AI models.

Agronomic intelligence becomes machine automation.
